Nucamp is now seeking part-time Web Development Coding Instructors specialized in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Angular, React, React Native, NodeJS, Express and MongoDB for its Web Development Fundamentals, Front End and Full Stack Coding Bootcamps in multiple cities in the US!

As a Web Development Coding Instructor for Nucamp, you will look after a classroom of 10 to 12 students in a blended environment mixing online and in-person experiences. This is the perfect position for someone interested in community development through education, while supplementing his/ her income.
You will be supporting adult students of diverse career, educational backgrounds and cultures learn the awesome world of programming!

Nucamp's mission is to offer affordable learning programs for professional adults seeking the skills they need for the career they want. We are bringing together local instructors, students and offering great curriculum and pedagogy structure to make it happen.

You can play a significant role in helping your community, while also earning income and enhancing your resume.

Your Responsibilities:

• During the week, spend 30-45 minutes a day engaging with students, answering their questions and helping with their learning journey while they watch video lectures and perform exercises.
  • This will be done online, at any time, from anywhere,
• At the end of the week (mostly Saturdays), spend 4 hours delivering in-person workshops,
• Grade the student's weekly assignments on Tuesdays,
• Keep students motivated to complete their learning journey; be very responsive to individual student needs.

Skills:

• We're seeking individuals with 1+ year of knowledge in 3-4 of the following technologies:
  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Angular, React, React Native, NodeJS, Express, MongoDB.
• Teaching experience is desired,
• Empathy and friendly communication style,
• Proof of experience is mandatory.

Employment type:

• Contractor

Compensation:

• $250 per week (each bootcamp course is 4 to 5 weeks long).
  • 20% Indexed on Student feedback and completion
