According to this Simplilearn article, cybersecurity is all about protecting your networks and devices from external threats, ensuring your data stays confidential, intact, and accessible.

The types of cyber threats out there are diverse and hella sophisticated, ranging from malware, phishing, ransomware, and spyware, each with its own unique way of messing with your tech.

For instance, the Massachusetts government has a breakdown of different cyber threats, like Malware which includes viruses and worms designed to damage or disable your computer, and Phishing, where scammers try to trick you into revealing sensitive info through sketchy communications.
